Our story began with the idea to place our resonating amplifier speaker (that turns surfaces into louder sounds) on boat hulls, so it could produce the frequencies of a shark’s predator, the orcas and killer whales, in which any boat or surfboard armed with our technology could scare any sharks away instantly, without harming them.
So, we started our journey on researching all the shark repellent research years ago, towards the end of 2017, reading hundreds of articles, one after another, documents, published research, documentaries etc. over and over to find out why no one has ever achieved, what seemed the impossible, before.
Chris Researched every form of shark repellent and deterrent to find out what exactly had been achieved to date since way back in the 1960’s.
He discovered that the existing shark repellents were All missing important parts to work effectively to stop sharks harming humans and stop them eating all our fish catch.
Then he found the missing parts,,,, and it really is so simple if you have the right technology, innovation and tools, a no-brainer, really.

Sharks play an important role in the ecosystem as a top predator, and they are one of the most iconic animals in the ocean.
The Great White’s popularity is either due to their impressive shape and behaviour, but also the threat they might cause to humans through increasing attacks in coastal areas of Australia
The Australian coastline is home to many impressive underwater creatures- sharks of many species, whales, Orca, dolphins and a host of other mammals – and Project NOAH WA team has undertaken a new study and approach in producing an affordable and effective acoustic shark repellent device.
Project NOAH WA (New – Omni Acoustic ) was created to conduct research on our shark repellents utilising acoustic devices in experiments on Western Australian waters. Working in collaboration with WAFIC, the Fisheries Dept., Marine Response Unit, Fishing Industry Consultation unit, fishermen and other NGO’s, our project aimed to investigate the effectiveness of this device in repelling Great White sharks (and other sharks) without harming them, subsequently developing an affordable device for everyone to protect their loved ones and enjoy our coastal Lifestyle.
Results from our 6 years of studies will provide safety for;
•humans in any marine activities
•help to protect sharks from lethal or harmful repellents and
•reduce shark exploitation by minimising shark bycatch from the fishing industry.
This will be our 3rd season out at some of the most unique and pristine field sites, where we’ll continue collecting crucial data to aid us in delivering our “Shark-Omni” audio repeller that actually works, harmlessly scaring sharks away, and we’ll be able to capture actual local Orca-pod sound recordings to benefit our technology’s efficacy
Why is the research important?
We URGENTLY need to complete the development of this technology ?
we’ve proven it’s effectiveness in protecting many endangered species from fishing nets and we know it’ll work better than shark nets in preventing Shark Attacks on us, while we also protect sharks, whales, dolphins, turtles and dugongs and all other swimming creatures from accidental harm from us humans
We’ll also assist recreational fishermen, charter fishing operators, commercial fisheries & aquaculture industries from shark depredation* of their fish catch and fish farms and reduce bycatch of endangered marine animals.
*Depredation is where sharks attack and eat fisherman’s catch before they can land it, or sharks invade aquaculture hatcheries to eat the inhabitants.
This type of phenomenon has heightened over the last 5-6 years and explains why there is occurrences of “over-catch” fishing because more fish are being caught, 3 to 1, to land 1 fish without shark intervention in some areas it’s much higher 8:1 fish caught to land 1.
this causes total fishing bans like here in W.A. on certain species because their stock numbers are lower than we hope for.

We have already successfully tested this Sound wave shark repeller technology on dive boats in Geographe Bay to Cape Naturaliste, Shark Bay & the Ningaloo region of North West W.A. since May 2018. and recently in the NT protecting dolphins & sawfish, soon we’ll head to Queensland and Spain to help their fishing industries.
